As a wise man once said, everyone must have a perfect ten car garage. That wise man was Jeremy Clarkson, but moving on.

Rules:

Your cars can be anything from production to limited-production to showcase to concept.

They can be movie cars, but only if it's based on a real car (i.e. GMC Vandura 1500 as the A-Team Van).

No Fiero kits of ridiculous examples (e.g. Batmobile, Space Shuttle, Death Star, Camry, etc.)

Here is what's in my perfect 10 car garage:

Nissan GT-R R35

The king of the 'ring. An obvious choice for myself given I not only love Japanese cars, but also things that are fast. The GT-R ticks both of those boxes.

Panoz Esperante GTR-1 Road Car

Only two road-legal versions were built. This goes in my garage because it's a modern example of a no-nonsense, honest to god American race car, from an honest-to-god American car maker. It's also drop-dead gorgeous with that paint.

Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren

Those headlights haunt my nightmares, because they symbolize the lunacy, terror, brick-shitting agony that lies behind them: a massive supercharged V8 engine. It's wonderful.

Toyota Celica GT-Four ST205

The Celica was always Toyota's golden child, and the ST205 is no exception. This car was Japan's best homologated rally car at the time. It's a rolling example of what Toyota is capable of when they try.

ICON Toyota Land Cruiser FJ44

One of the most capable, reliable, and popular off-road trucks of all time. I'd take one of these with solid axles and a winch. Yeah, something like that.

Honda S2000

Honda engine, Honda reliability, Honda performance tuning, you can't go wrong. Also that VTEC really kicks in, yo. I almost traded in my Accord for one.

Tesla Model S P85D

There's nothing like acceleration in an electric car. An electric car with 691 horsepower, that it. By god do I love this car. It's smart, spacious, surprisingly efficient, and fast.

Lexus LFA

I like the LFA not only because it's a brilliant supercar, but it's also Toyota saying "You want a fast car? Here you go. Happy?" I fucking love this car and all of its pieces, even that engine. I'd probably just sit in the driveway and rev it for hours upon hours.

Acura NSX

Honda's only supercar, yet one of the finest Japanese supercars ever made. The NSX was originally built with their partnership with McLaren in mind. With a chassis tuned by Ayrton Senna himself, the NSX was a true Ferrari killer.

Toyota 2000GT

The first Japanese supercar, one of the most beautiful cars ever made, and the most important car in Toyota's history. With it, Toyota set out to prove they weren't just some two-bit car company building dull appliances for the masses. If they wanted to, they could build a machine that would stick its hand down your pants and play around a little, and this car proved just that. This car fueled Toyota's sports heritage from then on, giving us the Celica, the Supra, the MR2, the Sprinter Trueno, and so on. In my opinion, it was a better E-Type than the E-Type.

A few second generation cars actually were painted Signal Green (the color you are referring to) from the factory using Porsche's PTS option. There are at least 2 in the world but some say as many as 4.

I'm going to mention this one more time one hopes that somebody with some pull likes the idea; our profiles should allow us to display our 10-car garage. To make it even better (and encourage good commenting) the cars should have to be purchased with stars (at like a 1 to $500 valuation). You want to buy a 918 Spyder for your fantasy garage? Comment well enough to earn 1,690 stars and you can buy it. Or maybe you just want to get that Mx5 in there? Just earn 48 stars and it's yours. This would improve commenting so much, and it would give each Jalop the opporuntiy yo show off the kinds of vehicles they appreciate.
